Hello, I'm Maria. This is me standing on a bridge in my home city of Cambridge. Although I no longer live there, I am not far away and still love to explore it, as if through the eyes of a visitor. It's amazing what you see when you take time to look up, down and around.

Cambridge is also where I gained most of my wealth of admin experience over the last 30 years, including 8 years at the University of Cambridge.

If admin tasks fill you with dread, and are eating into precious time, consider delegating them to a Virtual Assistant such as myself. I can undertake those tasks for you, giving you more time to work on your business. I can also support you with lifestyle management, helping with your domestic to do list.

I particularly enjoy being organised, seeing projects through from beginning to end and having a deadline to work to (I love a challenge!). I'm also a big fan of spreadsheets, the bigger the better, so if you have one (or need one) and have no idea how to tackle a spreadsheet, I'm your woman!

I love to support small businesses and freelancers as much as I can, it's especially important these days.

The Spiral Notebook (you can never have too many notebooks, right?!) was born when I realised I could use my experience and admin skills as another way of supporting small businesses and freelancers behind the scenes.

If you would like to chat about how I can help you, once you

have had a good look around this site, please contact me either via email, or the button below.

Home Desk

"Maria volunteered as a Trustee several years ago and since then has proved herself to be a valued member of the Board and a competent ‘Chair’ when called upon.

Although Maria has commitments during the week, she has been keen to be involved in a variety of activities. She has undertaken to edit the three monthly Newsletter for which she researches and writes many interesting articles. It is a bright, colourful and informative Newsletter which is well received by the Members.

She organises the Societies Monthly meetings which generate an important source of income for the Centre and this entails arranging Talks and visits for our members. The centre has had some very interesting events already this year with an exciting forward programme"
